Mapping & Referral

Staff must have necessary knowledge, information and training to support people and communities in accessing existing services. 

Key Actions Include:

  • Staff regularly map existing protection services and how to contact them
  • Staff share information on available services as appropriate
  • Staff are trained on when, if and how to refer cases and ensure there is follow-up to verify the needs of those referred have been addressed appropriately
