Hiring Step 6: Design the Announcement

Principle:

We want to get the word out to all qualified candidates.  And we want to make sure that minority groups are included in the recruiting.

How to Do This:

It is recommended to advertise multiple positions at one time. The whole JD does not need to be advertised, but a link to the full JD uploaded into a Google Drive can be added to the announcement. See the Nigeria Job Announcement Example for further reference.

Ensure the deadline for submission is included and directions on how applications should be submitted. Setting up a dedicated email address, such as [email protected] will promote confidentiality and better organization of the applications.
